"CELEBRATION" by Gino Masciarelli

Gino Masciarelli was born in Chieti, Italy into a family of artists. Since his childhood, he was involved in the activities of his father's art studio. After his studies, he moved to Milan where he gained valuable experiences through his collaboration with the Centre for Scientific Research "F. Martinotti". From 1974-84 his artistic activities alternated between Milan and Toronto.

Currently his roots are in both Milan and Berlin, where he works at the artistic metal casting studio of H.Noack. Among the dozens of solo exhibitions was one at Samuel Zacks Gallery in Toronto. He was also involved in numerous group exhibitions held in New York, Toronto, San Francisco, Chicago, Germany to name just a few. A gifted artist, Gino's impressive sculptures can be found worldwide: The "Mani della Pace" in the Vatican's Museum of Contemporary Art: "Levi's Strauss Challenger" in Milan; "Gabbiani in Volo" in London, and "Gruppo Umano, Soc. Waisberg L.T.D" in Caracus, Venezuela.
